Paul has been teaching at Xavier University since 1983, but his influence on the ethics and compliance world stretches far beyond the classroom.

What started as research into white-collar crime evolved into a career at the forefront of organizational integrity. He co-authored his first book on the Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations in 1993, completed a Supreme Court Fellowship at the U.S. Sentencing Commission, and in 2007 received the International Ethics Award from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.

Since then, he has spoken at national and international conferences and brought that same depth of knowledge to Fortune 500 companies, universities, and professional organizations across the country.

Four decades in, he is still doing what he has always done: making ethics in the workplace impossible to ignore. He brings rigor and engagement to his work that is above and beyond others’ methods.

What makes working with Paul different?

There is no shortage of ethics speakers. What is rare is one who can hold a room of skeptical professionals, make them genuinely think, and leave them with something they will still be using six months later.
