Les Miserables

Les Miserables is a 2012 movie, based on the long-running play, which was based on the 1862 book by Victor Hugo. Hugh Jackman plays the ex-felon - Jean Valjean - who is hunted by Russell Crowe’s Inspector Javert. The main ethical themes deal with strict compliance to laws v. the possibility of redemption, and how much (if any) deference do “high born” socialites deserve.
